I am working with a renowned Electrical Sub Contractor based in London, who due to expansion and growth are looking to add an Assistant / Junior Quantity Surveyor to their team.

Founded in 2005, my client operates from the heart of Central London as a leading electrical subcontractor in the construction industry.

Their expertise is centered on delivering top-tier Cat A and Cat B commercial fit-outs, which represent the core of their project portfolio. Alongside these, they are deeply involved in high-profile industrial and residential developments, educational institutions, leisure complexes, GPA (Government Property Agency), and specialised laboratory facilities across London and the southeast.

Their dedication to fostering homegrown talent is fundamental to their operations, with 75% of their skilled workforce and on-site electricians being a testament to this commitment.

Responsibilties:

• Monitor and control project costs to ensure the project remains within the budget. • Identify and manage any cost variations or overruns. • Carry out regular site measurements and valuations of the work completed. • Prepare interim and final valuation statements for payments to subcontractors and suppliers. • Ensure accurate records of work progress and materials used. • Source and negotiate with suppliers for materials and services required for the project. • Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to avoid project delays. • Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality. • Prepare and submit regular financial reports to the project management team and stakeholders. • Handle contractual issues and disputes as they arise.
