Job Description

We are seeking Skilled CNC Milling Setter Operators, to join our team here at Kristek Precision. The successful applicants will set and operate milling machine tools to meet customer standards & specifications.

You will work on a mix of high-quality components, in small to medium batch quantities, within a production environment.

Responsibilities

Setting and Operating CNC Milling machines using Siemens & Fanuc controls
Follow manufacturing quality plans, improving and developing as required
Ensure machines are operating efficiently
Inspect finished products for visual quality and drawing specification
Use various measuring equipment to inspect components
Collaborate with the engineering team to improve processes
Populate route cards & SFDC system to record manufacturing information
Communicate well with other team members
Maintain a clean and organised workspace
Work safely and report any Health and Safety issues

Requirements, Skills, Experience

Experienced and skilled with setting & operating CNC Milling machines
Able to produce products in a range of materials mostly metal
Adhering to quality standards
Ability to interpret technical drawings to a good standard
Good understanding of manufacturing techniques
Able to follow written and verbal instructions
Computer literate
Excellent attention to detail
Positive and proactive approach to Continuous Improvement
Familiar with either Siemens or Fanuc Controls would be helpful but not essential

Hours of Work, Remuneration, Benefits

Double day shifts + Average 15% shift allowance (Two week rota)

39 hours per week Monday to Friday (30 mins paid break)

Week 1 Mon Thu 6:00 am 14:00 pm. Fri 6:00 am 13:00 pm

Week 2 Mon Thu 14:00 pm 22:00 pm. Fri 12:00 pm 19:00 pm

Salary includes shift premium. £33,000 - £40,000 depending on skills and experience.
