Job Description

Head South Hair & Beauty Studio is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Receptionist to join our trendy salon located in the heart of Battersea at Northcote Road. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for the beauty industry, a commitment to excellent customer service, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic salon environment.

Previous experience/knowledge in the hairdressing/beauty industry is required.

Part-time only 2-3 days a week.

Availability to work during Christmas and New Year is ESSENTIAL

19th December to 24th December - 27th December to 30th December - 2nd January to 5th January.

Availability to work Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Communication: Answer phone calls and respond to client messages, providing accurate information and assistance.
Customer Engagement: Actively engage with clients, both in-person and virtually, to foster a welcoming and attentive atmosphere.
Scheduling: Schedule and manage appointments efficiently, maximizing stylist availability and client convenience.
Transactions: Process payments and handle transactions with accuracy and integrity.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, applying always the Head South customer service methodology ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
Social Media: Assist the Social Media Manager in content creation and social media interactions.
Salon Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.

Skills and Qualifications

Previous experience/knowledge in the hairdressing/beauty industry is required.
High school diploma or relevant work experience.
Positive and proactive working attitude.
Excellent communication skills.
Confident, polite, effective, and friendly.
Well versed in social media, (Instagram and TikTok).
Fluent in English.
