Job Description

As an AEM Architect, you will be responsible for leading the technical design, implementation, and maintenance of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions for our client. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that AEM is effectively utilized to deliver exceptional digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical leadership and guidance for AEM-based projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
Design and implement robust AEM architectures, considering scalability, performance, and security requirements.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architectural blueprints, design patterns, and standards.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and development teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Evaluate and recommend AEM features and functionalities to meet project goals.
Design and implement AEM integrations with other systems (eg, CRM, marketing automation, analytics).
Oversee the implementation of AEM solutions, ensuring adherence to architectural guidelines and quality standards.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for AEM-related issues.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of AEM infrastructure and processes.
Mentor and guide junior developers in AEM technologies and best practices.
Foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment within the team.

Required Skills and Experience:

Strong AEM architect (12+ years) experience in large digital transformation programs:
Good experience in migrating a large number of sites and date from Legacy (Sitefinity/other CMS) to AEM.
Strong hands-on experience in AEM as a Cloud service, Dynamic media.
Strong proficiency in AEM development, including CQ5, AEM 6.x, and AEM 6.5+.
Deep understanding of AEM architecture, components, and workflows.
Experience with AEM authoring, publishing, and replication processes.
Expertise in Java, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages.
Familiarity with content modelling, tagging, and metadata management.
Knowledge of web content management systems and digital asset management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
