It's a super exciting time to join Electric Star Pubs at our Bethnal Green HQ. The busy telephone sales and bookings department for 8 venues across London are currently seeking a quick thinking and enthusiastic team member to help with driving the business forward. The ideal candidate will be sharp and customer focused & ready to take on the challenge in a fast paced environment.

We are offering the role on a 6 month fixed term contract basis as maternity cover.

Job Description:

Extensive bookings diary management for 8 Electric Star venues
Answer all calls and email enquiries regarding function rooms, menus, prices & availability
Respond efficiently to new enquiries and keep records of customer interactions (using Collins bookings system)
Make recommendations based on client needs
Upsell food & drink packages to maximise revenue
Confirm bookings and follow up ‘in progress’ enquiries to meet targets
Proactively contact new business & previous bookings with offers
Gain product knowledge & build rapport with venue managers
Liaise with venue managers/kitchen operators regarding bookings
Contact customers post-event to gain feedback on their experience
Contribute ideas to grow the business
Occasionally host events
General office duties

Candidate Attributes:

Previous experience in a fast paced bookings/reservations/office/hospitality role
Working knowledge of Collins bookings platform a must.
Confident telephone manner is a MUST as cold calling is an integral part of the role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Outgoing personality
Ability to resolve queries in a proactive, practical and positive manner
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities with minimum supervision
Flexible approach to work
A passion for Electric Star and where the business is going

Salary: £26-28,000/annum
