Analytical Information Systems Ltd (AIS) provide Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) software to the UK and Ireland laboratory sector, covering design, development, delivery, installation, training, troubleshooting and support. We are looking for an organised and consciencious person to fill a newly created part time role based at our Telford office, with the following conditions:

Office based only
Between 15 and 21 hours per week over 3 days (ideally Tuesday to Thursday)
Probation period of 3 months
Reporting to the Sales and Services Manager It is envisaged that the successful applicant will assist with the following (but not limited to) tasks:
Answering phone calls
Basic office health and safety checks
General office admin tasks (e.g. checking the levels of consumables, etc.)
Generating basic quotes
Testing of our LIMS software (under supervision)
Monitoring of our ticket support board
Basic support ticket responses (e.g. using documentation and training to provide basic assistance)
Carrying out software issue investigations (under supervision) Essential Requirements:
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) Highly Desireable:
Previous admin experience Desirable:
Previous IT / laboratory experience
